Nice clear code.

You can probably avoid the inline assembler by doing

volatile unsigned char *dhrmain = (volatile unsigned char *)0xC054;

Then you can just write

*dhrmain=0;

or similar.

The volatile is for correctness, cc65 I don't think cares about
volatile because a 6502 has not got enough registers for it to matter.
