That has historicyl reasons (as usual :-). The old ca65 (which was a DOS
assembler) had this behavior. If I remember correctly, the idea came from an
old Atari assembler (mac65?). It might be possible to change it by some sort
of .FEATURE, but I doubt that it's really worth the trouble.
